Project statement

Using Adobe Illustrator I will create a typographic portrait of Bruce Lee, in celebration of his life and death. 2013 will be 40 years since his passing and every year since 1992 his life has been celebrated with the annual Bruce Lee Film Festival in Los Angeles California. This is for promotional use with info embedded in the portrait, contact info, where and when the festival takes place and dates. I will use a achromatic color scheme and create depth using different tints and shades.

Possible portraits for type

 very simple image but theres alot you can do with this image.

 i really like this one of Bruce because his hand is so close to the viewer giving a lot of depth to the picture.

very interesting pose and would be great for a anniversary of his passing.

 Jack has always been a favorite actor of mine.

good smile, great feel.

Type Portraits For Inspiration

 This picture of Mr. Einstein is using achromatic scheme which i like and will most likely use in my piece

 this picture of the dalai lama  uses achromatic scheme as well.

 the achromatic scheme gives depth to this picture by using tints and shades.

this is a great picture but the words used could have been better chosen.

this is a great because it looks like the creator made it from scratch

MJ is made using song lyrics.
